25+ Kiwanians Who Care is a new kind of Kiwanis Club. While upholding the mission of making a difference in the lives of children, our virtual club allows members to share their passions and gifts directly with organizations dedicated to helping children attain a better quality of life.
Our club encompasses members from across Indiana – and a few Hoosier-at-heart living further away. Similar to a giving circle, we gather online quarterly, learn about a trio of nonprofit organizations impacting children in Indiana and each direct a $100 gift to support the work of a chosen organization.
The 25+ Kiwanians Who Care – Indiana club is part of the Hoosier Division in the Indiana District and is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana.
The Kiwanis Mission & Vision
Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive. Our Kiwanis club fulfills the Kiwanis mission by supporting area nonprofits serving youth throughout Indiana.
Kiwanis Service
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
Kiwanis clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. To reach more people and have a greater service impact on their communities, many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities.

We have exciting news! We are honored to welcome THREE new members to our 25+ Kiwanians Who Care Club! Let's kick off our introductions with our new Indiana District of Key Club InternationalKey Club International District Administrator, Michael Iafrato!
Please take a minute to read this brief bio that Michael prepared for us to share:
I hail from Staten Island, New York. At 18, I moved to Florida to attend college at Saint Leo University. I then worked for the Walt Disney Company, where I began my 25-year career in hospitality management. Later, I returned to school at Arizona State University for theater and am proud to be an alumnus of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and Circle K International.
Currently, I am a life and productivity coach, consultant, speaker, and trainer, focusing on nonprofits and academics. I've been a member of the Kiwanis family for 30 years and served as the 2016-2017 Southwest District (Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, TX) Kiwanis Governor. I am the current Key Club District Administrator and I've served on the Southwest District Key Club admin team. For 2024-2025, I am the Presumptive Kiwanis Lt. Governor of the Rose Division.
Beyond my work with Kiwanis and my professional endeavors, I am the lead alumni advisor for the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Purdue University, where I aim to transform young men into gentlemen.
Let's all welcome Michael to 25+ Kiwanians Who Care! We are thrilled to have him on board. Welcome, Michael Iafrato! #KidsNeedKiwanis... See MoreSee Less
